Nothing Can Separate Us

“nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:39).

Nothing can stand between us and God. No person, no system, no law, no protocol or etiquette, dictates our ability to approach God in times of need. We can be happy that we have free access to God. We do not need to make an appointment with his personal assistant, or check his diary and see when his schedule is free. We have often tried in vain to have audience with people in positions of power. It can be frustrating when we have something important to say and have to go through layers of checks before we can have access to someone.

Jesus died on the cross so that we can approach the throne of God, with boldness and confidence, knowing that, we shall receive grace and mercy to help us in the times of need (Hebrews 4:16).

Our time in prayer brings us in direct communication and access to God. When we pray God also responds. It’s funny that people think it strange when we talk about hearing from God. Who sits and talks to someone everyday without getting any responses from them? Speaking to God is not like speaking into an empty vacuum. God has a lot to say in response to our prayers and requests to him. When we pray we also need to make time to listen, so that the Holy Spirit can train our ears to hear.

God created us for relationship and he does not want any distance between us. We do not need a religious leader to grant us access to God. Yes they are important for leadership and direction, but God desires a direct relationship with us. Prayer connects us to God and draws us closer to him. Let us maintain our connection through prayer and reading of the word and cherish the fact that nothing can separate us from God.

  2. Oh My, Anneta!! Once again, we are on the same wavelength. Romans 8:39 was also my lead scripture today!! Without personal, unbroken fellowship with the Lord, we would fall victim to every nonstop distraction of Satan. We are so blessed to be able to go boldly before the throne of Grace and commune with our God!! 💕

    1. 😂😁😅🤣we all get into that habit, especially when we are anxious about something and want God to know how we feel. Pouring out is extremely important, as is spending the time to listen afterwards. Otherwise it’s a one way communication system. 🥰💖❤️💗🙏🏾

  6. Hello my sister this is powerful.
    I used to struggle with prayer until I prophetically sanctified an “Altar”
    The earth is run and controlled by people operating from altars when the dark kingdom or the Kingdom of God.
    I enjoy my time with God.
    Sometimes I just pray not because I want something from God but because the relationship is becoming sweeter and sweeter.

    1. A relationship with God is the ultimate and if we focus on that, then we understand cultivating a quiet time. I have loved your posts on altars because this takes us into the realms of warfare. Altars are also for consecration and offering praise and thanksgiving. Bless you Evidence. 🙏🏾Where is Mr. Frank? 😁

      5. I think he is all done with schooling. He told me, the other day or so, that he was working. I asked if he was working, or just pretending to work🤣💕 I will forward him here, so that he knows he is missed.

  7. I love those verses, they express the fact that Jesus told us about being in his hand, and no one can pluck us out of it, compounded with being in the Father’s hand as well (John 10). God bless

  9. Amen, wonderful post Anneta. So often I think most of us forget that God through His Holy Spirit will speak to us. God does have a lot to say to us. In order for us to hear, we need to seek Him out with all our hearts, and this is when a relationship with Him will become much easier.
