The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. (Psalm 34:7)
At times during the test it can feel like God has forgotten about you or that he has abandoned you. God promised to never leave you or forsake you and he is with you always. (Hebrews 13:5) We look to the hills from where our help comes from. We know that our help comes from the Lord who made the heavens and earth. (Psalm 121)
The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before you. They shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways. (Deuteronomy 28:7) We keep our mind stayed on the word of God to strengthen our faith to stand in the midst of adversity. No one can stand against our God and when we live for him a battle against us is a battle against God. But there is more with us than are with our enemy and the God in us is greater.
God helped David fight his battles and he never lost a fight. He consulted God and got direction to plan his battle strategy and with God on his side he always had victory.
People come at us with their strategies and their weapons of fear and intimidation but we come in the name of Jesus. At his name demons tremble at the power and awesomeness of Jesus. In the Name of Jesus we decree and declare victory and our enemies are defeated.
I am a trained Social Worker who currently provides professional leadership on a programme to support Social Work students and Newly Qualified Social Workers entering the Social Work Profession.
Born and raised in Jamaica in a Christian family where my father is an ordained Pastor and Deacon who has served for over 50 years in the ministry. My father is also a trained musician and our family can be described as a musical family. I grew up in a small farming community in St. Peter’s, St. Andrew and my parents also have a small farm.
I credit my gift of writing to my father who I watched and listened to over the years as he wrote sermons, poems and other recitals in his capacity in ministry. English has always been an easy subject for me and over the years I have developed an increased interest in writing.
I am a Trainer, I sing and have a passion for worship, the spoken word and the free flow of the prophetic anointing. I am married to my best friend Andrew Christopher Young who is an advanced Musician and whose music you can find on YouTube and Facebook. I am a trained Coach and Mentor and I love experimenting with food so I love cooking. I enjoy trying cultural dishes from across the world and I view food as an entry into cultures and languages.
